Growing up in Philadelphia, I was surrounded by sports and quickly became a passionate fan of all three teams. I have vivid memories of cheering on the Flyers as they won back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in the mid-70s, and I will never forget the excitement of watching the Phillies take home their first World Series championship in 1980. And of course, as an Eagles fan, I was overjoyed when they finally won their first Super Bowl in 2017.

My name is Christian Smith and I’m a proud Philadelphian through and through. I bleed green for the Eagles, orange and black for the Flyers, and red for the Phillies. There’s nothing quite like the passion and spirit of Philadelphia sports fans, and I am no exception.
Growing up in this city, I was always surrounded by sports. Whether it was playing street hockey with my friends or watching the Eagles dominate on Sundays, sports were a huge part of my life. I remember watching the Flyers win the Stanley Cup in 1975 and 1976, and the Phillies take home the World Series in 1980 and 2008. Those were some of the most unforgettable moments of my life.
As a diehard Eagles fan, I have been through it all – the highs of the 2017 Super Bowl victory and the lows of the infamous “4th and 26” in 2004. But through it all, I have remained loyal and dedicated to my team. The same goes for the Flyers and the Phillies. I have always supported them through thick and thin, and I always will.
